The Crosby High School Catamount Yearbook was recently named as a Gold Medalist by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. The 2006 yearbook “Capture” was rated as a Gold Medalist according to standards set by Columbia University Journalism, earning 948 points out of a possible 1000. The Catamount Staff received All-Columbian Honors in 3 out of 5 categories, ranking in the 95^th percentile in each category.

The 2006 Catamount was also chosen by Walsworth Publishing Company as a representative in their portfolio magazine for outstanding cover design and was named to the Walsworth Gallery of Excellence. The 2006 Catamount Staff was under the leadership of Editors Kelli Renfro and Victoria Ugalde and Adviser Alice Hoy.
