The Cougar Stars traveled to San Antonio over the weekend.  They
competed at the Showtime International contest held at Seaworld along
with 10 other school and studios.  The Cougar Stars received numerous
awards in the solo, officer and team categories.  In the solo division
Amanda Zotzky was named as a Solo Finalist Runner-Up. 

In the officer category the dance officers comprised of Amanda Zotzky,
Stephanie Farrer, Rhianna Ridgeway and Lauren White as a group received a
sweepstakes trophy, a Judges Award as well as Best in Class in their
Modern, Jazz, and Prop. 

The Elite team won a First Place in their category.  The members of the
Elite team are Amanda Zotzky, Stephanie Farrer, Rhianna Ridgeway, Bianca
Rodriguez, Robin Stewart, Sarah Johnson, Jena Bletsch, Joanna Sherman,
Sarah McKeon, Lauren White. 

And finally in the team category, the Cougar Stars received 2 Best in
Class for their Modern and Hip Hop.  They also received a Judges Award
for their novelty.  They also took home a sweepstakes trophy.  And for
the 2nd time ever the Cougar Stars were named GRAND CHAMPIONS!!!
