Drew Intermediate School - November 7, 2007

A small fire of unknown origin ignited in one of the Drew Science Labs this afternoon. No students were in the lab at the time. The fire was immediately put out by an Administrator. The fire department promptly reported to the scene and the Fire Marshall is investigating the cause. Due to concerns about smoke inhalation students were evacuated to Crosby High School. Students will be released at their regular time from Crosby High School and will be transported home by bus or released to parents. Parents may pick up their children at the back doors to the main gym. Classes will resume as usual on Thursday November 8th 2007.
