Student Council members have traveled to Highlands, TX to sing and visit with residents of Mountbatten House for 10 years! This Christmas event is one of their favorite activities. Student Council members dress in their very finest Christmas attire and perform a variety of songs for the residents. Afterwards, StuCo members visit with the residents, asking about how they celebrated Christmas when they were children. The residents love to share stories with the children. Student Council members distribute treats that have been brought for the residents. After singing, dancing and visiting with the residents, Student Council members wave and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |
