Brad Hadnot is the new Principal of Crosby High School. Mr. Hadnot is a 21-year veteran in education and joins Crosby ISD this year after serving all 21 years of his career in Dayton ISD.  While in Dayton ISD Mr. Hadnot served in several roles including Principal, Associate Principal, Assistant Principal, Principal Intern, Government-Economics-World Geography Teacher, Head Boys Basketball Coach, and Varsity football assistant. Mr. Hadnot was a member of the coaching staff for the 2007 State Semi-Finalist and the 2008 State Championship Finalist Bronco football teams. He served 16 of his 21 years in Dayton ISD at Dayton High School.
 
Mr. Hadnot is originally from Kountze, America in Southeast Texas where he graduated top 10. He was also a member of the National Honor Society while being a varsity letterman in basketball, football, baseball, and track. After high school he attended Sam Houston State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. He also earned a double minor in English and Health while at SHSU. Mr. Hadnot holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University and also recently completed the Superintendent Certification Program through Lamar University.  He holds several certifications including Superintendent, Principal, Social Studies Composite, Health, and Physical Education. 
 
Mr. Hadnot is eager to share his wealth of knowledge gained through his years of experience with the staff at CHS. Mr. Hadnot has a strong belief in the power of positivity and the importance of having a positive outlook on work, school, and life. He has a clear and consistent vision that CHS staff members should make a POSITIVE IMPACT on the lives and learning of all students every day.

Mrs. C. Vallot, Associate Principal

Mrs. Vallot joined Crosby ISD in 2016, and has served as the 8th grade Assistant Principal, Associate Principal and Principal for Crosby Middle School. Before joining the Cougar Family, she served as an Assistant Principal in Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District for four years. Mrs. Vallot spent eight years in Galena Park ISD as a Behavior Specialist and a Business Education teacher.

Mrs. Vallot
grew up in College Station, Texas and attended school at A&M Consolidated High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University and earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia Lutheran University in 2011.  Mrs. Vallot is married and has five children and four grandchildren. During her free time, she enjoys spoiling her grandchildren, shopping, going to waterparks and spending time with family.

Dr. Laketha Cooper, Dean of Instruction

Dr. Laketha Cooper comes to us with 17 years of experience as an educator.  She received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.  She has served as a Mathematics teacher and instructional coach in both Aldine ISD and Humble ISD.  Most recently, she was the Professional Learning Coordinator in Humble ISD, where she designed and facilitated high quality professional development for district staff at every level.  

She also supported the district's mentor program and worked with apprentice and new teachers during her tenure in Humble ISD.  Dr. Cooper also restructured and managed the district's Credit Recovery program for High Schools and authored the district's Credit Recovery Handbook.

She has a deep understanding of adult learning principles and instruction.  She believes that students deserve relevant and relatable personalized learning experiences that prepare them to become global citizens.  Therefore, she is committed to creating transformative learning experiences that empower teachers and leaders to ensure that students receive the highest standards of teaching and learning.  

As the Dean of Instruction, she will continue this work and more.

Mr. Antonio Menjivar, Assistant Principal

Mr. Menjivar graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He also holds a Master of Education in Education Administration from Lamar University. Mr. Menjivar began his career as a 6th grade social studies teacher and has held other different roles such as math teacher and math specialist, before serving in his current role as Assistant Principal. 

Mr. Menjivar’s goal as your Assistant Principal is to provide leadership that promotes learning and a safe environment for every student. Mr. Menjivar is excited to be a part of a great community and is ready to work every day to ensure the success of EVERY student.  Mr. Menjivar serves at the 504 Administrator for students with last names A-E.

Ms. Laura Haynes, Assistant Principal

Before coming to Crosby High School, Ms. Haynes spent 11 years teaching English and Math along with coaching duties at Huffman ISD. Ms. Haynes grew up in Carthage, Texas where she proudly graduated in 1987.  She later enlisted in the United States Army, where she served for 10 years. After leaving the military, Ms. Haynes went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Houston at Clear Lake and her Master's in Education Administration from Lamar University. Ms. Haynes says she is blessed to be a part of Crosby High School with such a wonderful and supportive community.  Ms. Haynes loves working with students and being able to witness their growth throughout the years, as they become productive young adults. Parents entrust Ms. Haynes to do what is in the best interest of their children, and she will always put their needs above her own, while assisting their academic and emotional needs.  Ms. Haynes serves as the 504 Administrator for students with the last names F-Lev.  If you ever have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact her.

Ms. Mary Jenkins, Assistant Principal

Ms. Jenkins received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University and her Master’s Degree from the University of Houston, Main Campus. Prior to coming to Crosby High School, she was an educator in Dayton, Texas.  Her daily goal is to create a positive environment where students have the opportunity to be successful in academics and in extracurricular activities.  

She serves as the 504 Administrator for students with last name Lew-Rey.  Ms. Jenkins also serves as the Administrator for Crosby Crossroads Academy.

Mrs. Allison Weaver, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Weaver graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (education) and from Lamar University with a Master of Education degree in Special Education.  She began her teaching career in 2005 and has served students in a wide variety of capacities (English as a Second Language, Special Education, Gifted and Talented, Section 504, intervention, and beyond).  Mrs. Weaver moved to Crosby in 2010 with her family and lived in Crosby for 10 years. Both of Mrs. Weaver’s children have been in the district since they were each in kindergarten. She has been working in Crosby ISD since 2016 and worked at Crosby Middle School before joining the Crosby High School administration team in 2021.    Crosby ISD is a special part of her personal and professional life. She is honored to serve the students, families, staff members, and community members of this incredible district.  Her goal is to serve as a partner in the educational journey of ALL students and families who call Crosby ISD home.   Mrs. Weaver serves as the Administrator for 504 students with the last names Ri-Z.  She also serves as our campus LPAC Coordinator. Mrs. Weaver is grateful to be part of the bright future and positive changes happening in CISD!
