It is with great excitement that I begin my 2nd year of leadership as the Principal of Crosby High School.  Our school, as well as the Crosby Independent School District, is known for its high standards and academic excellence.

By way of introduction, I would like to share some of my educational and professional background with you and tell you a bit about myself: I have been married to my high school sweetheart Erin Bromley for 11 years.  Erin and I have two boys,  a 4-year-old named Owen and a 1-year old named Liam. I began my education career as a teacher/coach at North Shore Senior High School, and then transitioned to Galena Park High School as an Assistant Principal in the Galena Park Independent School District.  With a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Oklahoma State University and enough experience to leave me with many more questions than answers about how children learn, I returned to school at Lamar University to earn a Master's Degree in Administration.

It has been my passion over the years to work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure that all students receive and benefit from a consistent, quality learning experience that takes into account the individual learning needs of all students. As the leader of your school, I highly value parental engagement and believe that your participation is vital as we work together to provide an excellent educational experience for all children. I would also like you to know that I value and appreciate being a part of the Crosby community, a community that holds its leaders to a high expectations.

A majority of my experience has provided me with an understanding of cultural diversity as well as a deep appreciation for all walks of life.  I’m extremely excited to lead Crosby High School and will continue to provide an environment that ignites student minds, inspires student passions, and improves student outcomes.

Go Cougars,

 Mr. Dustin Bromley

I love my job!  After being raised and graduating high school in Beaumont, I attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La. and marched in the band for 4 years!  I obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Science at McNeese and moved to Houston for work in the environmental field for 10 years.  Once my husband and I began having children, I changed careers to education and taught science.  It was the most difficult and rewarding change, learning how to teach!  I moved into Administration as a Testing Coordinator/Assistant Principal.  This is my 6th year as the Associate Principal at CHS, and I have learned an enormous amount about how to work and communicate with students, teachers, parents, and community.  I love this community and I love this “job”!

Before coming to Crosby High School, I spent 11 years teaching English and Math along with coaching duties at Huffman ISD. I grew up in Carthage, Texas where I graduated in 1987.  I later enlisted in the United States Army where I served for 10 years. I left the military and received my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Houston at Clear Lake and my Master's Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.  I feel blessed to be a part of Crosby High School with such a wonderful and supportive community.  I love working with students and being able to witness their growth throughout the years, as they become productive young adults. Parents have entrusted me to do what is in the best interest of their children, and I will always put their needs above mine, while assisting their academic and emotional needs.  If you ever have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me.
