Congratulations to Tramonte Green and Valdemar Hernandez for qualifying for the state powerlifting meet. They will compete in Abilene at the Taylor County Expo Center on Saturday, March 23.

Katy Meet

The Powerlifting team competed in Katy on Saturday coming away with the 3rd place team trophy. Every lifter improved from the last meet, and look to overcome the competition in the next meet and win a team championship. Placing were Matthew Riddick - 1st, Angel Galvan - 4th, Kyle Leal - 2nd, Blake Wright - 5th, Chase Nix - 2nd, Tramontae Green - 2nd, and Grant Narcisse - 2nd. Each athlete competes in their own weight class and Crosby dominated Saturday. Other Crosby athletes who competed were Josh Opiela 6^th, Aaron Davis 7th, Lyle Buckner 6th, Ben Meche, and Andrew Hackett 9th. Each week the team gains the experience to make noise at regionals, with several lifters closing in on state. Go Cougars. Code Red!
