    6th Grade Assistant Principal

Multiple Greetings, Cougar Nation! My name is Dr. Craft, and I am elated to serve as the 6th Grade Assistant Principal this year at Crosby Middle School! Although this is my first year here at CMS, I began my career in education nearly ten years ago in middle Tennessee. I am a proud graduate of Austin Peay State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I am also a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University, where I earned a doctorate in educational leadership.

During my tenure as an educator, I have worn many hats: paraprofessional, teacher, coach, and instructional leader at both the middle and high school levels. Specifically, I have had the distinct honor of serving as a middle school reading teacher, high school English and LOTE teacher, tennis coach, team leader, and an instructional specialist. Prior to joining this wonderful district, I served as an assistant principal in Spring ISD. Above all, I strive to ensure that each and every student I encounter receives a dynamic education—one that is well-rounded and culturally-relevant. Here’s to a year of hard work, reflection, growth, and celebrations! Take care.
