The Long Range Planning Team for Crosby ISD serves as a vital advisory team focused on guiding the district’s strategic decision-making to meet future needs. Their purpose is to carefully analyze key data—including demographics, enrollment projections, facilities conditions, and community priorities—to help shape plans that support educational excellence and sustainable growth in the district.

The goals of these meetings include:

  • Providing informed recommendations that align with Crosby ISD’s mission to produce responsible, literate citizens equipped for success.
  • Engaging diverse community members such as parents, educators, students, and local stakeholders to ensure their voices and perspectives are incorporated into the planning process.
  • Maintaining transparency and accountability by openly sharing updates and insights about district challenges and opportunities.
  • Supporting district initiatives and long-term projects, including facility expansions and resource allocation, based on up-to-date data and community input.

Community involvement is a key focus throughout the process. The team encourages active participation and feedback, emphasizing meaningful engagement through activities like postcard reflections and open discussions. This inclusive approach ensures that planning decisions reflect both expert analysis and the community’s values.

The Team's work culminates at the end of the semester with a formal presentation to the Board of Trustees. This presentation summarizes findings, recommendations, and community input, providing the board with valuable guidance as they consider future projects and investments for Crosby ISD.

Overall, the Long Range Planning Team acts as a bridge between district leadership and the community, helping to create thoughtful, data-driven strategies that will shape Crosby ISD’s success for years to come.
