Elementary School STAAR Tests
Grade 3: Mathematics and Reading
Grade 4: Mathematics and Reading
Grade 5: Mathematics, Reading and Science
Middle School STAAR Tests
Grade 6: Mathematics and Reading
Grade 7: Mathematics and Reading
Grade 8: Mathematics (either 8th grade Math or Algebra I EOC), Reading, Science and Social Studies
High School STAAR Tests
Math: Algebra I EOC
English: English I EOC and English II EOC
Science: Biology EOC
Social Studies: U.S. History EOC
When will my student take their STAAR tests?
Elementary School and Middle School will test all STAAR tests in April
High School will have three opportunities per year to take STAAR EOC tests: Fall (December), Spring (April), Summer (June)
All high school students are required to take each EOC tests as many times as necessary until he/she meets the passing standard for that test as a requirement for graduation.
Crosby ISD Electronic Device Policy (during testing)
All cell phones and electronic devices are prohibited during testing sessions and should not be available for use by the student. The student's test may receive a "Do Not Score" label if the device is visible or heard during the test administration. If the Test Administrator observes the device, it may be confiscated and reported to the District Testing Coordinator and the Campus Administrator for further action. The campus/district is not responsible for the loss or damage to phones or electronic devices brought into the testing environment. The safest place for devices on testing days is at home.
