Two-Way Immersion

Parents of incoming kindergarten students must attend a parent information meeting before applying for the Two-Way Immersion Program.  Please contact the Bilingual Department for more information.   

What is the Two-Way Immersion Program?

The Two-Way Immersion Program (TWI) is a language enrichment program.  Participants include both English and Spanish speaking children learning both languages simultaneously beginning in kindergarten.  The program provides Spanish as a second language instruction to fluent English speaking students through the core academic content areas (Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies).   It also provides English as a second language instruction for our fluent Spanish speaking students through the core academic content areas.

Two-Way Immersion Application and Checklist

The 2026-2027 Dual Language Application for incoming kindergarten students will be available in April.  

The Lottery will take place in May of 2026.  If selected in the lottery, you will be contacted to schedule an oral language assessment for your child.
