Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine
Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) is a program that provides free behavioral health services to children and adolescents who may be struggling with mental health concerns. Once a student is referred to TCHATT by a school employee (i.e. counselor), the student is given an evidence-based assessment and treatment services that target a wide-range of emotional and behavioral health concerns.
Services include:
- Mental health evaluations
- Short-term therapy including up to 4 appointments focused on the top problems identified by the student and/or parent/guardian
- Psychiatric care and medication management
- Referrals to long-term treatment providers, if necessary
