On Friday Sep. 11 the Tennis team beat Pasadena Rayburn 13-6.  The Cougars were led by the girls who won 8 matches.  The girls took all 3 doubles matches with the teams of Jordan Machala/ Shelby Cole winning 6-4, 7-5.  Alicia Melendez/Priscilla Valenzuela won 6-1, 6-2.  Marissa Frank/ Mayra Jaimes won 6-1, 6-2.  The boys were led by the strong play of Jon Hardy who won doubles with Anthony Nelson 6-2, 3-6, 10-4, and won his singles match 6-4, 7-6. 

 

 

  On Monday, Sep. 14 the Tennis team beat North Forest 18-1.  The entire team played well with some players winning both singles and doubles matches.  Those winning two matches were:  Jordan Machala, Shelby Cole, Alicia Melendez, Priscilla Valenzuela, Karisa Horacefield, Sarah Odell, Jon Hardy, Zach Shumaker, and Oscar Chavez.  The Tennis team will go for 3 wins in a row Monday the 21st against Goose Creek Memorial.
