Cougar Excellence Awards for November
Crosby, TX (November 18, 2024) - The Crosby ISD Board of Trustees awarded more than a dozen students, teachers, staff, and community members "Cougar Excellence" awards for November 2024. These awards celebrate those who show the values we cherish in Crosby: hard work, a sense of purpose, and achievement.
CROSBY EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The Board began by saluting the Crosby Education Foundation and sponsors for providing one of the highlights of the month! On October 10, CEF Board members, the Crosby High School Band, Cheerleaders, and Cougar Stars traveled from campus to campus delivering checks to teachers who were awarded innovative teaching grants. In all, CEF and sponsors delivered more than $120,000 to teachers. We love to see this true community support filter from businesses and community organizations to teachers and, ultimately, to our students. Every penny is about investing in better learning opportunities for the children of Crosby / Barrett Station.
