Crosby ISD recognized with 10 TSPRA Communications Awards

San Antonio, TX (Thursday, February 20) - The Crosby ISD Communications Department received 10 Star Awards from the TSPRA (Texas School Public Relations Association) for communications achievement during the 2023-24 school year. Thirteen is the most TSPRA Star Awards ever earned by Crosby ISD. The awards are designated as Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Gold Award winners then have the chance to be named Best of Category (best in the state of Texas). The district won best in the state for best instructional or training video with our video, "Turkey Talk with Chef Espinosa." In all, Crosby ISD earned 5 Gold Star Awards, 3 Silver Star Awards, and 1 Bronze Star Award. Director of Communications, Mr. Brett Birkinbine, accepted the award from TSPRA president, Ms. Kristyn Cathey at the Star Awards Banquet in San Antonio on Wednesday, February 19.
