Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, Crosby ISD is launching an updated student locator application that will work in conjunction with the student's ID badges to increase the parent's ability to track where their students' bus is at.

During the 2023-2024 school year, Crosby Transportation performed a soft rollout of the badge system on the buses to prepare students for the upcoming school year. The transportation department encouraged students to have their badges ready in their hand as they boarded the bus to expedite the loading process. 

As we move forward into the new school year, the transportation professionals will continue to remind students that they will need their badges in order to ride the bus.

Working together with parents, students, campuses and transportation professionals, we can ensure that students who board the bus can do so in a timely manner, reducing the time that buses are stopped at bus stops, and providing updated location information to assure parents that their student has safely boarded the bus, both to school and on the way home.
