As the new school year begins, I would like to introduce myself and welcome you and your child in my classroom.  My name is Jennifer Thompson.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Darrell, for 9 years.  He is a teacher and coach at Crosby High School.  We have a beautiful 7 ½ year girl named Samantha.  She will be in 2nd grade this yearat Barrett Primary.  Our family also includes a chocolate lab named Sadie, yellow lab named Mitch, and a cat named Socks. This is my 17^th year teaching. I taught for 10 years in Baytown, then three years in Lewisville, TX, and this is my fourth year at Crosby Kindergarten Center.  All 17 years have been with Kindergarten.  I received my degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana.  I also have a Reading Endorsement.
