Grading

•      Daily Work / Homework (30%) 
  • At least 2 Homework assignments per week
  • All homework will be given at least 2 days before they are due, no homework will be due on Mondays.
  • Any assignment turned in late cannot receive full credit.  No late work will be accepted after three days.  There will be a 10 point deduction per day up to three days, after 3 days the assignment will be scored as a zero.  Any student with a zero will be required to attend lunch detention with Mrs. Thielen until the assignment has been completed, but the assignment grade will remain a zero.
• Quizzes (10%)
  • May or may not be announced
• Test (60%)
  • Will be announced in advance.  Students can expect at least two test per term.

Tutoring

• Wednesday afternoon 3:00-4:00
• I will be available before school as needed, please ask for a pass.

Textbook

• Students will create an interactive notebook, which will be the "go to" resource for this class.
• We will use the Algebra 1 Textbook online as a resource.  All students will have a copy downloaded to their IPAD.

Technology

• We will use student IPADS EVERYDAY!!!!  Please bring them to class charged.
