New Student Registration Process
IMPORTANT STEP FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS
BEFORE going to a campus for new student registration, please click the following link to complete the online application: Online Application Forms.
After completing the online forms, you may go to your child's designated campus and registration location to complete the registration process.
BRING THE FOLLOWING FORMS WITH YOU:
*Certified Birth Certificate (No Copies)
*Social Security Card
*Acceptable Forms of Proof of Residence
Electricity, Water, Gas, or Cable Bill (Current Bills), Lease Agreement signed within the last 30 days. Government Benefits Mail (Disability, SNAP, etc.), Warranty Deed signed within last 30 days
*Photo ID of Parent/Guardian
*Custody or Guardianship Documents Relating to Student
*Acceptable PreKindergarten Qualifying Documents
One month's most current check stub of all household income, SNAP Benefits eligibility letter, Active or Disabled Military documentation, DFPS eligibility documentation, Star of Texas Award Documentation.
NOTE FOR PRE-K AND KINDER STUDENTS
** PreKindergarten Students - Child must be 4 years by September 1, 2019
** Kindergarten Students - Child must be 5 years by September 1, 2019
NOTE FOR 1ST - 5TH GRADE STUDENTS
If you are unsure which 1st– 5thgrade elementary campus your child will attend, you can check your attendance zone by going to the following link: Attendance Zones Map (Page will take a few minutes to upload due to the large file size).
Students who have moved within the district over the summer and needing to enroll BEFORE the first day of school: You will simply go to your child's new school to enroll as a new student.
Students who have moved within the district after the first day of school: You will need to go to your child's old school to withdraw and then proceed to your child's new school to enroll as a new student.
