The Crosby High School Band consists of students in grades 9-12. All students participate in marching band the first semester and concert band the second semester. Other opportunities include jazz band, all region band, and solo & ensemble. The CHS band has established itself as one of the up and coming bands in the area. Over the past 4 years, the band has earned first division ratings at UIL concert and sightreading contest, marching contest, and placed 3rd at Area marching contest in 2005. The 2007-2008 band earned the UIL Sweepstakes award by earning a first division rating in all 3 UIL competitions. The band travels every 2 years. Recent destinations have included Orlando, Florida and Honolulu, Hawaii.
