Brad Hadnot is the new Principal of Crosby High School. Mr. Hadnot is a 21-year veteran in education and joins Crosby ISD this year after serving all 21 years of his career in Dayton ISD. While in Dayton ISD Mr. Hadnot served in several roles including Principal, Associate Principal, Assistant Principal, Principal Intern, Government-Economics-World Geography Teacher, Head Boys Basketball Coach, and Varsity football assistant. Mr. Hadnot was a member of the coaching staff for the 2007 State Semi-Finalist and the 2008 State Championship Finalist Bronco football teams. He served 16 of his 21 years in Dayton ISD at Dayton High School.

Mrs. C. Vallot, Associate Principal

Mrs. Vallot joined Crosby ISD in 2016, and has served as the 8th grade Assistant Principal, Associate Principal and Principal for Crosby Middle School. Before joining the Cougar Family, she served as an Assistant Principal in Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District for four years. Mrs. Vallot spent eight years in Galena Park ISD as a Behavior Specialist and a Business Education teacher.
Mrs. Vallot grew up in College Station, Texas and attended school at A&M Consolidated High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University and earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia Lutheran University in 2011. Mrs. Vallot is married and has five children and four grandchildren. During her free time, she enjoys spoiling her grandchildren, shopping, going to waterparks and spending time with family.

Dr. Laketha Cooper, Dean of Instruction

Dr. Laketha Cooper comes to us with 17 years of experience as an educator. She received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. She has served as a Mathematics teacher and instructional coach in both Aldine ISD and Humble ISD. Most recently, she was the Professional Learning Coordinator in Humble ISD, where she designed and facilitated high quality professional development for district staff at every level.
She also supported the district's mentor program and worked with apprentice and new teachers during her tenure in Humble ISD. Dr. Cooper also restructured and managed the district's Credit Recovery program for High Schools and authored the district's Credit Recovery Handbook.
She has a deep understanding of adult learning principles and instruction. She believes that students deserve relevant and relatable personalized learning experiences that prepare them to become global citizens. Therefore, she is committed to creating transformative learning experiences that empower teachers and leaders to ensure that students receive the highest standards of teaching and learning.
As the Dean of Instruction, she will continue this work and more.

Mr. Antonio Menjivar, Assistant Principal

Mr. Menjivar graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He also holds a Master of Education in Education Administration from Lamar University. Mr. Menjivar began his career as a 6th grade social studies teacher and has held other different roles such as math teacher and math specialist, before serving in his current role as Assistant Principal.
Mr. Menjivar’s goal as your Assistant Principal is to provide leadership that promotes learning and a safe environment for every student. Mr. Menjivar is excited to be a part of a great community and is ready to work every day to ensure the success of EVERY student. Mr. Menjivar serves at the 504 Administrator for students with last names A-E.

Ms. Mary Jenkins, Assistant Principal

Ms. Jenkins received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University and her Master’s Degree from the University of Houston, Main Campus. Prior to coming to Crosby High School, she was an educator in Dayton, Texas. Her daily goal is to create a positive environment where students have the opportunity to be successful in academics and in extracurricular activities.
She serves as the 504 Administrator for students with last name Lew-Rey. Ms. Jenkins also serves as the Administrator for Crosby Crossroads Academy.
