Crosby, TX (May 17, 2023) - Today, the Crosby High School JROTC presented Special Education Aide, Mrs. Pamela Jensen, with a military shadow box celebrating her father's 21 years of service in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. George William Wells served in the U.S. Air Force from March 16, 1961 until May 31, 1982. He worked as an air traffic controller and continued in the same field for 30 years after he retired from the Air Force. Mr. Wells passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 79.

Today, the Crosby High School 23-24 JROTC Cadet Battalion Commander, Cadet Battalion Executive Officer, and Cadet Brigade Special Assistant presented Mrs. Jensen with a shadow box that includes a folded American flag as well as pictures and patches from her father's years in the service.

Mrs. Jensen has a special place in the heart of the Special Education team at Crosby High School. Each day, she escorts students with special needs to the JROTC 6th period class.

Mrs. Jensen's family, including her husband and two daughters, were on hand for the special ceremony.
