  • Important changes to health coverage benefits for 2022/2023:

    TRS ActiveCare Plans discontinued 09/01/2022
    - There will be 4 plan options (all PPO's)
    - Two different network options
    - Aenta
    - HealthSmart

    All supplemental and Section 125 Plan products will have a short plan year.

      - The 2021/2022 plan year products will continue
         through 10/31/2022
      - The 2022/2023 plan year products will take
         effect 11/01/2022 and have an end date of 08/31/2023


  • Mid-Year Benefit Changes

    You may add or cancel coverage during the plan year if you have a qualifying life event.
    You must notify the benefits department within 31 days of the change with the proper documentation.

    QUALIFYING LIFE EVENTS INCLUDE:
    Changes in household, including marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment, death of a spouse,
    birth, adoption, placement for adoption, or death of a dependent child, Loss of health coverage, attributable to your spouse's employment,
    losing existing health coverage including job-based,
    losing eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP, turning 26 and losing coverage through a parent's plan.
