• The following is a brief description of the salary improvements for the 2013-2014 school year and beyond.

  • 1. Pay Increase     All employees will receive a 3% pay increase in 2013-14 on the midpoint of their pay grade.

    2. External Equity Pay Adjustment·     An external equity pay adjustment will be applied to employee salaries that were identified by a salary analysis as being inequitable as compared to salaries of area districts, our external market.  Salary adjustments were based on comparative salary data gathered from TASB (Texas Association of School Boards) and will range from $500 to $10,000.

    3. Stipend Adjustment·     As part of the salary analysis, TASB comparative data also indicated that our stipend amounts lagged behind the area.  In response, the school board also approved an increase in stipend amounts including the following areas:  athletics, academic UIL, graduate degrees, subject area stipends, and other general stipends (e.g. department chair, student council, National Honor Society, etc.).
